KCAA Announces 2009 Employee of the Year

Allergic Asthma Study

08/06/09

KCAA is conducting a research study to evaluate an investigational study drug’s efficacy and safety in patients with mild to moderate allergic asthma. Patients will receive either study drug or a placebo and can remain on their current inhaled corticosteroid.

You might be eligible to participate in the study if:

  • You are between the ages of 12 to 75
  • You have been diagnosed with allergic asthma with sensitivity to certain allergens
  • You have relatively good lung function (as determined by medical tests run by your doctor)
  • You are currently taking inhaled corticosteroids, and are still experiencing symptoms.

*Other criteria for participation do apply, and will be reviewed by your doctor

Study participants will receive all study related medical evaluations and the investigational study drug (or placebo) at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available. To learn more, contact the Research Department at 913-345-2383.
